What is an ISPM 15 treatment?

The ISPM 15 treatment is an international standard for pest control in wood packaging. Through heat treatment(Heat Treatment), wood is heated to its core, giving pests no chance. Packaging that has undergone Heat Treatment and bears the ISPM 15 stamp is internationally recognized as safe and disinfected according to standard.

This mark is mandatory for exports to many countries and prevents pests from spreading through transportation. Without ISPM 15 marking, your cargo may be refused or delayed at the border.

Every year the temperature control points of our steam rooms are calibrated, so you are always assured of correct HT treatment.

ISPM 15 treatment for wooden packaging

Gendis is officially recognized and registered by the Wood Marking Foundation to perform these treatments. Our steam rooms meet all requirements:

✔ Wood is completely debarked and stamped with our official ISPM 15 stamp (NL 076)
