The right drying for every application

Wondering if your wood species is suitable for drying? We have experience with a wide range of wood species and tailor the process to the unique characteristics of each type of wood. We dry to your desired moisture percentage, whether it is 4%, 9-11%, 18-20% or some other value.

Common woods we dry:

Softwood

Softwood is wood that comes from coniferous trees and is also called softwood. The wood often contains resin.

Consider: Spruce, Pine, Douglas, Western Red Cedar, Larch, Poplar

Impregnated wood

Impregnated wood is softwood that has been chemically preserved. The wood is vacuumed in a large impregnation boiler and then an impregnating agent is added. That agent makes the wood resistant to fungi, bacteria and insects that cause wood rot.

Hardwoods & hardwoods

Hardwood (European and Tropical) comes from deciduous trees, for this reason it’s known as hardwood. Hardwood trees generally grow quite slowly. This slow growth process results in a high density in the wood.

Consider: Oak, Maple, Ash, Jatoba, Sipo, Sapeli, Meranti, Iroko, Wenge and more

Kilns
